The Bandknife Peeling Machines R 22 E are used for the economical and efficient production of long thin foils made from the above-mentioned materials in a very limited space.
By means of a peeling mandrel and an infinitely adjustable feed roller the material cylinder is put into a rotating movement. The peeled foil is continuously wound-up by the following wind-up machine R 88 E. The required layer thickness is adjusted via change gears and turned into vertical movement by the lifting spindles. Thus, according to the preselected layer thickness the cylinder to be peeled is steadily moved to the rotating bandknife.
