The Bandknife Peeling Machines R 13 are used for the economical and efficient production of long thin foils made from the above-mentioned materials in a very limited space.
By means of a peeling mandrel and an infinitely adjustable feed roller the cylinder is put into a rotating movement. The peeled foil is continuously wound up by the wind-up machine R 39.
The required layer thickness is adjusted by means of change gears and turned into vertical movement by lifting spindles. By that means, the cylinder to be peeled is steadily moved towards the rotating bandknife according to the preselected layer thickness.
