The Fully Automatic Travelling Cut-Off Machine T 4 is used to cut flexible PU foam blocks into length behind the foaming line.
The machine being equipped with oscillating knives is a self-contained unit and can, therefore, be installed behind any foaming line. During the cutting procedure the cutting unit is in synchronous run with the foaming line. A separate impulse transmitter guarantees for synchronization and linear measuring. As soon as the required block length is achieved, the oscillating knives move in transverse position to the foaming direction and the required block length is cut.
