Our automatic horizontal splitting and stacking machines are used to cut flexible PU-foam blocks efficiently and economically into sheets.
The slabs are put onto the adhesive conveyor belt. During the advance move the circulating bandknife splits the block into the requested layer thicknesses. In order to allow the split-off layer to remain lying on the block, the knife guide glides in the cutting groove when the table returns. The cutting lengths are adjusted via impulse transmitter and light barriers.
