Our automatic horizontal splitting and stacking machines are used to cut blocks and slabs made from the above-mentioned materials efficiently and economically into sheets.
The slabs are put onto a sliding table with a special adhesive corundum paint. During the automatic feed of the table the circulating bandknife splits the block into the sheets. During the backward movement of the table the knife guidance slides in the joint, so that the split sheet can be hold onto the block. Afterwards the cutting unit is lowered in order to split the next layer from the block. This allows for stacking the cut layers one onto another as well as for a completely automatic and unmanned run of the machine.
